Welcome to QuantCell Research
-- the developer of QuantCell, the simple to use big data spreadsheet and end-user programming environment.
A Terabyte of Algorithms
One-click access to over a terabyte of algorithms and solutions available directly from the QuantCell spreadsheet interface.
The technology is facilitated by integrating Ivy support into the spreadsheet. It presents a huge opportunity for the domain expert to unlock access to knowledge, algorithms, methods and code locked away in cryptic APIs, currently only useful to skilled programmers. It allows the none-developer to benefit from the approximately $1 trillion in capital investment in algorithms, methods & code available as open source.
Hadoop and Big Data
Native Hadoop and MapReduce available directly from the QuantCell spreadsheet.
By taking advantage of specific deployment paths, QuantCell users can now interactively work with Hadoop from QuantCell. A user can run algorithms on Hadoop clusters, without attaching anything special from QuantCell to support the big data analytics process.
QuantCell has released enhancements enabling analysts to enter SQL directly into the spreadsheet cells.
The technology allows users to access any JDBC compliant database technology as if it were an integrated part of the QuantCell client. Work is ongoing integrating other languages such as Scala and R into QuantCell.
Formula completion wizard available for open source code snippets.
QuantCell has released a new version of the integrated auto-compete wizard. This is a first version of a public recommendation engine and auto-complete functionality that will support the non-developer when creating advanced analytics in the QuantCell client.
Version 1.3 released
On August 10th, 2013 QuantCell released version 1.3 as a part of its limited public beta program.
